Overview

The Review Request Journey requests reviews from recent purchases, streamlining your tech stack and enabling control over design and timing. From there, you can also enable the Positive Review Thank You Journey to thank customers for leaving a positive review and encourage another purchase.

How It Works

Trigger & Timing

The Journey is triggered by the Review Intent event, which is for messaging customers when they’re eligible to submit a review.

Personalization

In these emails, you can reference the product to be reviewed by using the {{triggerEvent.custom['Product Title'] | default: 'Product'}} property.

Recommendations

To optimize this Play, we recommend the following:

  • Experimenting with the timing of the emails to see what works best for you and your customers
  • A/B testing different email subject lines, designs, and copy to see what drives the most engagement
  • Inserting the {{triggerEvent.custom['Product Title'] | default: 'Product'}} property
  • Incentivizing customers by offering a discount code in exchange for a review
  • Including product recommendations to encourage product exploration
